In 2006, Nathan Head appeared in two episodes of Goldplated, a Channel 4 drama series that ran for a single eight-episode season before being quietly dropped. He portrayed a paparazzo, immersed in the relentless glare of tabloid culture, contributing to the series’ themes of fame, wealth, and intrusion. Despite an extensive marketing push, including a nationwide poster campaign featuring giant gold credit cards, the show debuted to just 1.4 million viewers and saw its audience dwindle rapidly in subsequent weeks. As a result, Channel 4 moved the remaining episodes to a late-night slot and ultimately cancelled the series after its debut run.
