About
Nathan Head contributed both on screen and behind the scenes to the Blood
Curse duology, a pair of ambitious horror features directed by Keiron Hollett
of KiRO Pictures. The first film, Blood Curse: The Haunting of Alicia Stone
(production commenced in 2014), introduces Nathan in a memorable cameo as
paranormal television host Tyson Knight. The story follows Alicia and her
husband Jason as their lives unravel under relentless supernatural forces
after receiving a mysterious gift from Alicia’s late great-aunt Gwen. As the
demonic Lord Asmodeus begins to claim Alicia’s soul, Jason turns to Tyson
Knight for aid—culminating in a chilling showdown at the Stone residence.
Nathan returned to the role in the sequel, Blood Curse II: Asmodeus Rises,
further expanding Tyson Knight’s place within the saga. Beyond his
performances, Nathan also made significant off-camera contributions, working
closely with Keiron Hollett throughout the creative process. The duology
represents years of hard work, passion, and collaboration, with every effort
taken to make these films the strongest and most compelling they could be.
Nathan is immensely proud of his involvement and of the opportunity to help
bring Hollett’s vision to life.

Watergates screening - 2018
Scenes from both Blood Curse
films were showcased in a special screening at a Chester Film Co-op event in
July 2018. Hosted by Film Chester at Watergates Bar on Watergate Street in
Chester city centre, the screening took place in the Old Crypt beneath the
venue, an atmospheric space dating back to the 12th century, which served as
the final resting place for priests from nearby St Peter’s Church. The small
stone recesses in the main bar area were used to consecrate their remains. The
event was attended by several cast and crew members, including Patrick McMahon
(Hi-Fi Buyer), Michael Caine and Mark Smith (second unit cinematographers),
and Nathan Head (Tyson Knight). Nathan Head introduced the screening and held
a short Q&A session with the audience afterward.

Share Shop screening - 2016
Early footage from both Blood Curse films was
first shown as a sizzle reel at a Chester Film Co-op event in May 2016, hosted
by Film Chester at the Chester Share Shop. At the time, the venue was located
in the corner building adjoining the Shropshire Arms, at the junction of
Northgate Street and Hunter Street. The event also supported the associated
homeless charity, with attendees encouraged to purchase coffee and cake during
the screening to help fund the venue’s community work, supporting families in
crisis and people experiencing homelessness across North Wales and Cheshire. A
small number of cast members were also present, including Nathan Head (Tyson
Knight) and Patrick McMahon (Hi-Fi Buyer).
